We have an in-house lab and radiology department. This is for the convenience of the patient and the physician. The patient can come in and have all their work done in one place instead of having to be shuffled from one place to another, and trying to schedule appointments for lab, x-ray and their doctor. The doctor can also have the results back immediately in most cases and relay these back to the referring physician.

Complete chemistry profiles, complete hematology, urine and throat cultures, complete back up lab for specialized testing, and direct wire results on outside lab work.

All routine x-rays

Carotid Scans

The ultrasound technologist performs carotid studies as a line of stroke prevention under the guidance of the diagnostic doctor.

Performed in house for your convenience.

Holter Monitor

After careful explanation of the cardiac monitor it is then placed on the patient for a period of up to 24 hours. The nurse is on call after working hours for any questions or problems that the patient might have. When the monitor is returned to the office it is connected to a printer which reports EKG samples, heart rate and cardiac arrhythmias. The report is then interpreted by Dr. Grossman.

Pulmonary Function Testing

The respiratory signals detected by a pneumotachograph are measured and analyzed by the instrument’s microcomputer. The results are shown on the LCD display and are printed on an internal thermal printer. The display also shows “real time” data and graphical measurements such as the flow / volume loop.

Psychological Testing

Dr. Grossman realizes that psychological problems, occult or obvious, can interfere with medical treatment, therefore he may order psychological testing to best treat the patient.
