Early History

Dr. Grossman is a native of Corpus Christi, Texas. His high school education was at Corpus Christi High School, where he graduated at the age of sixteen. He enlisted in the Navy at the age of seventeen. After discharge from the Navy, he returned to the University of Texas in Austin. Dr. Grossman has had specialized training at various institutes. Following the successful completion of his duties at the New England Medical Center, he was appointed to the world famous Lahey Clinic in Boston, Massachusetts.

After completing all his specialized training and returning to his home of Corpus Christi, he began private practice. After nine years of practice and writing several medical journal articles, he was awarded the position of “Fellow” (F.A.C.P.) from the American College of Physicians.

He was the youngest physician in the history of Corpus Christi to have earned this distinction, and at the time, was only the fourth physician in the history of Corpus Christi, to have ever received the honor. Subsequently, he did attain some national distinction by being appointed to the seven member governing committee of the American College of Gastroenterology. Dr Grossman was awarded Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Texas.

Dr. Grossman has more than thirty years of experience in private practice of Gastroenterology / Internal Medicine in Corpus Christi, Texas.
